Pioneering Plastic Erasers
The year was 1915. In Osaka-Japan, SEED CO., LTD. was established to manufacture and distribute to the world the erasers made from rubber.
Later in 1956 SEED was the first company to start producing erasers made from plastics — mainly from PVC, later polysulfide rubber, synthetic rubber, elastomer, and other compounds. Our well-known “Radar” Plastic Erasers sold over the past 55 years still remain the hallmark of our company as well as in the industry of plastic erasers.
In 1983 SEED invented the correction tape mechanism, having applied for its patent and patented it in 1984. We are virtually proud of the pioneer of correction tapes that are one of the best- and longtime seller stationery and office products worldwide.
In 2002 SEED established her own factory in Hanoi-Vietnam to produce and export high-quality products made under so rigid Japanese QC system at competitive prices to Japan and other countries.
Our most serious goal is to manufacture and provide all the things related to erasing and meet with consumers’ erasing needs. SEED is also dedicated to working with the environment by recycled or environmentally-friendly products.
